This is commonly used at DRSS. To me, collaboration is cooperating with one or more people. It means listening and understanding the person(s) you are working with. Finally, collaborating means trying to make a friend out the person(s) you are working with even if you do not prefer them. At DRSS, collaboration is emphasized. The school emphasizes collaborative work. DRSS is introducing this quality to us early. Collaborative skills are important. People you may not like may work with you.  DRSS knows that you will use collaborative skills all through your life. We just practice that. Collaboration with other subjects is also something you will do later in life. We are just practicing all the implications of collaboration.
