Bharatnatyam is a classical form of Indian dancing that originated from the state of Tamil Nadu in India. This ancient dance form requires the student to learn for 7 years before undergoing a graduation. Bharatnatyam is an art form full of hand gestures, facial expressions, and leg movements all blended together into one dance. I have been dancing for 7 years and I recently completed my dance graduation!
