​Communication, to me, is a few things. It could be using your five senses to talk or text or email with one another. It could be listening and understanding one another. It could be using hand signals, only if the other person understands. Communicating doesn’t have to be with people. It could be communicating with technology or animals. At DRSS communication is highly emphasized. It can be emphasized in many ways. Talking to students and emailing teachers are examples. Communicating with someone or something is important for success no matter which of the five senses you use. Communication matters to DRSS for one reason. Without communication, there would be chaos. Everyone would do random things all at once.  No one would know what to do. People would argue. Communication stopped the wrong words from coming out. It prevented chaos.
