Inquiry
Inquiry is a commonly used quality. Inquiry to me is thinking about a subject or an activity. It could even be thinking about a topic. Asking questions based on your thoughts about something is also a part of inquiry. Brainstorming about projects or ideas is also a part of inquiry. You use questions to think about what you could do. At DRSS inquiry is highly emphasized. Inquiry matters to DRSS because the school wants us to learn. Learning is the whole point of a school. Learning about different topics and gaining knowledge is very important for the future. Inquiry is used in every class at all times. When teachers teach, we think about what they are teaching us. Topics, worksheets, activities, and homework are given to us to test whether we understood and thought about what they taught us. Although I have used inquiry this year, none of my reflections relate to inquiry specifically. My ability to inquire enhanced during this year. I used to think that inquiry was just asking questions to help yourself learn. During this year, I learned that inquiry isn't just helping yourself, it is helping others as well. This inquiring of others learning abilities helped us as well. We learned to make compromises and take in others feedback to make our products better.
